Job Level

The Human Resources, Communications and President's Office Solutions Department is part of the Desjardins Group Support Functions IT Division at Desjardins Group.

As an application solutions architecture designer, you provide IT support to the HR, Communications and President's Office business lines. You work on high-visibility projects that have a cross-sector scope across the entire organization.
You need to be able to grow quickly in an environment that involves multiple administrative units, including at the vice-presidential level.

You help ensure IT efficiency by analyzing, designing and updating programming algorithms (computer software and web applications) and IT tool architecture (software, networks, databases, etc.). You ensure consistency with the organization's current and future needs and structure, while also ensuring that new components are compatible with the existing architecture (software applications, products, services, etc.).

You design detailed architecture, software and testing/implementation strategies for large-scale, innovative projects and initiatives. You analyze, develop and recommend functional, organic and technology solutions and priorities. The ability to work with technology, anticipate innovation and optimize work processes is therefore essential.

You advise clients and employees on integration and coordination matters, so the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a thorough understanding of needs is key. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your specialty area.

You are responsible for strategic projects and initiatives that are operationally and conceptually complex and require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in many other fields.
