The Operations Manager is accountable for the organization and supervision of overall plant activities relative to the Production Quality/Technical and Maintenance areas. Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for achieving maximum performance of operation resources, and to develop and implement programs that promote the effective and efficient conversion of raw material to high quality finished wood products, while attaining high safety performance and employee morale. The incumbent is a member of the Management Team and is responsible for leading the department managers so that they are aligned, supported and capable of achieving divisional goals. 

The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 7 years experience in production or maintenance, as well as at least four years in a leadership role. They will have experience in OSB Operations manufacturing or maintenance. Ideally, they will have a University Degree or Technical Diploma in a relevant field and understand the levers of the businesses and applies this knowledge to the enhancement of the operation. They will have strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.

The Operations Manager will be based in Slave Lake, AB.
