[IPS-HRS-FR...jects_Rev1 | Word] General Information Basic Function The Project Manager is responsible for the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of high-voltage substation and powerline construction projects across Western Canada. This role manages multiple projects simultaneously and is accountable for project financial performance, client satisfaction, risk management, and overall project execution. Working closely with Operations, Construction, Engineering, Quality, HSSE, Fleet, and Field Supervisors, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations. Qualifications Education College or University degree in a related field, or equivalent Substation Construction Supervision/Journeyperson experience. P.Eng designation preferred. PMP/PMI designation considered an asset. Experience 10+ years of project management experience. 5+ years managing construction projects. 5+ years of Journeyperson experience in High Voltage Construction. Extensive experience in substation and powerline construction. Utility industry experience is considered an asset. Skills Advanced project planning, scheduling, and change management expertise. Strong understanding of substation construction sequencing and industry best practices. Proven financial management skills, including forecasting, budgeting, cost control, and accrual tracking. Experience managing procurement, subcontractors, and contract administration. Proven ability to successfully deliver EPC projects. Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Other Requirements Valid Class 5 Driver's License. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to split time between office and project sites as required. Duties Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and overall execution. Develop staffing plans and project schedules to support successful delivery. Lead project forecasting, cost management, and financial reporting. Manage change orders, contractual commitments, and procurement activities. Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Lead project meetings, kickoffs, reviews, and client-facing discussions. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Ensure health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met. Oversee project closeout activities, final documentation, and deliverables. Monitor cash flow and provide regular reporting to senior leadership. Responsibilities Ensure every team member gets home safely. Deliver projects that meet or exceed schedule, quality, and financial targets. Build and maintain strong client relationships and long-term partnerships. Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to project teams. Requirements

Requires a degree in a related field or equivalent trade experience, with over 10 years of project management and 5 years of high-voltage construction experience. P.Eng and PMP designations are preferred or considered assets.
