Our client, a well-established Canadian construction and infrastructure contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to join their Foundations division in Alberta. The successful candidate will oversee the operational and financial performance of foundation projects while working closely with field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. This position can be based in either Calgary or Edmonton and will involve travel to project sites across Western Canada. Key Responsibilities: Manage foundation projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets are achieved. Oversee project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, scheduling, and resource planning. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, crews, equipment, and other project requirements. Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to support project execution. Manage change orders, contractual requirements, project documentation, and project-level issues. Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. Monitor project risks, opportunities, and overall performance, reporting to senior management as required. Ideal Candidate Requirements: Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of training and construction experience. Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in construction or civil infrastructure. Foundations, piling, shoring, ground improvement, or geotechnical experience. Strong experience with project budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and change management. Proven leadership, communication, client management, and negotiation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project; Hard Dollar and SAP experience is an asset. Willingness to travel to project sites across Alberta as required. Why this Firm? A technical diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of training and construction experience is required, along with strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, change management, leadership, communication, client management, and negotiation skills.
