About this opportunity:

Cenovus Energy is looking for a Staff Project Engineer in Lima, OH.

What you’ll do:

  • Coordinate civil engineering and design projects through execution, planning, and interface stages. Ensure that activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Analyze refinery operations to understand performance and production data.
  • Evaluate commercial opportunities to pursue projects to improve efficiency.
  • Create and scope out potential projects to improve output.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and other discipline engineers to ensure consistency in the execution of project management activities.
  • Ensure all project activities are completed on schedule and within budget following strict company safety practices.
  • Review existing company processes and procedures, evaluate successful projects, and identify and improve existing processes requiring improvement.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor – Civil Engineering related technical field of study; will accept an equivalent foreign degree.
  • Four (4) years as a Civil Engineer, in the position above or a related engineering role.

Experience must include:

  • Civil engineering in a refinery environment
  • IFC Drawings
  • MOC projects
  • Large-scale construction and building design (modular designs, interior design, and construction projects)
  • Manufacturing and commissioning quality assurance and quality control
