We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PMO to manage our NAM digital projects. This role will be responsible for successful delivery of multiple projects to meet strategic & tactical objectives of the organization. The individual will be reporting to AMER Regional Solutions Manager and working closely with central solution directors, cross functional leaders, senior business leaders (RSC, TDS, DIS etc.) and other IS&T senior leaders in NAM.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage multiple projects, solution partners, local business teams, central solution/métier resources through the project management life cycle, aligned with Alstom IT processes & standards.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, risk management, execution, migration, communication, change management for project scope.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional and regional relationships, governance, collaborating with stakeholders for all project delivery.
  • Drive effective reporting, visibility on initiatives resulting in transparency and accountability.
  • Develop achievable project plans, manage project scope and report progress throughout all project phases.
  • Drive project prioritization and ensure alignment to strategic goals of the company.
  • Contribute to harmonization and convergence program, working closely with AMER solution team members.
  • Initiate and manage projects to deliver landscape harmonization and standardization of solutions.
  • Develop, track, and manage project budgets, ensuring the financial feasibility of each project initiative.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet timelines, scope and budgets.

Qualification:

To be considered for this role, the candidate needs to demonstrate the following experience and skills attributes:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT PMO or project management roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing/automotive companies is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong experience in delivering complex global projects and working with solution partners/providers and multi-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing technology implementation, integration, decommissioning, upgrade projects with global teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of budgets, timelines, and project scope.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques, and software development life-cycle principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to communicate widely with international teams.
