Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to provide project management of large facility construction, building upgrades, and renovation projects

Qualifications:

The incumbent must possess the following qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of end-to-end construction and capital project cycles
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, collective agreements, the CCDC suite of contracts, OAA DOC 6-- ,RIAC Doc 600 ,Ontario Building Codes and OSHE policies and procedures
• Knowledge of construction and project management and leadership concepts practices including program/service delivery models, policy development, planning, budgeting, and performance measurement management
• Experience of construction, building upgrades, and renovation project management, program design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation methodologies, processes, and practices
• Knowledge of relevant governing legislation, collective agreements, policies and procedures
• Knowledge of office as well as the broader university academic units, departments, and divisions

Education and Experience:

The above is normally acquired through:
• Completion of bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or project management
• Minimum of seven years of previous project management of facility construction, building upgrades, and renovation projects experience including five years of supervision and leadership experience
