The Land Development team at RVA is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering graduate to join our team.

Our ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, is a self-starter with a high sense of responsibility and is motivated to have a successful career within a dynamic group environment.

Duties:

As a member of RVA's Land Development team, your role will involve facets of land development engineering primarily associated with the construction stage of projects including, review of project designs for constructability, preparation of tender and construction documents, coordinating construction related permits, client contact, contract administration, site review and site representation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a Civil Engineering college or university program.
• Minimum 2 years of construction related experience including sewers watermain, roads and land development projects.
• Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is preferred.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Possess a strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients.
• Ability to work independently and in an interactive team atmosphere.
