As a Lead, Business Projects you will have overarching accountability and responsibility for the initiation, execution, implementation, and closeout of business projects. In a fast paced and detail-oriented environment you will manage a wide-array of projects with cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external, by leveraging your project management knowledge and experience including your superior communication, time management, & prioritization skills. As a Lead, Business Projects you will serve as the primary project contact for all stakeholders while managing project expectations, ensuring stellar communications, adhering to FCT's project life cycle framework, providing team leadership and direction, heading problem solving and issue resolution, ensuring risk mitigation, managing plans, deliverables, and timelines all while promoting an energetic and collaborative work environment for all project stakeholders.


HERE'S HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Deliver timely and effective project planning and management for assigned projects using established processes, templates, tools, and project life cycle frameworks where applicable.

  • Oversees the collection of requirements and project scope.

  • Identifies all stakeholders, envisions, and plans project framework and communication plans.

  • Develops, publishes, and leads stakeholders through schedules with activities, deliverables, expected effort, timelines, resource requirements, and resource assignments.

  • Deliver timely and effective project execution, monitoring and control management throughout the assigned project using established executing and monitoring processes, templates, tools, and project life cycle frameworks where applicable.

  • Manages and delivers communications and updates including status reports, meetings, meeting minutes and action items.

  • Manages project issues and risks, problems solving, project schedule, reporting project status (on track, off track, at risk) and work completed in weekly status reporting.

  • Manages resource task assignments and deliverables.

  • Communicates information and updates via written or verbal communications to all stakeholders, divisional leadership &/or executive leadership (as needed).

  • Deliver timely and effective project implementation, post-implementation, and closeout management for assigned projects using established implementation and closeout processes, tools, templates, and project life cycle where applicable.

  • Create detailed implementation plans with timelines in collaboration with all stakeholders, including customers where applicable.

  • Communicates and confirms implementation dates and associated activities.

  • Plans and manages project early life support where applicable.

  • Ensures all project deliverables and requirements are completed before formally closing out the project.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 5+ Years of experience in project management and/or technology & service-based execution and delivery role

  • Superior communication, time management, & prioritization skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)

  • 5+ Years of experience within the Collections & Recovery industry an asset.

  • Formal training in Project Management; One or more project management or agile certifications an asset

  • Working knowledge of project life cycle frameworks (SCRUM, ISDLC, IPLC, etc.) an asset
