As a Commercial Field Management Representative, you will be responsible for the growth of net new and existing business as well as the profitability of a portfolio of accounts. Your goal will be to ensure that volume and general management for the accounts is on target. Your success will be evident in your ability to maintain relationships with our small and large commercial customers in the Newfoundland sales territory.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities on existing accounts and identify opportunities in other areas of the business (cross leads) and collaborate with sales peers to ensure customer receives excellent service
  • Frequent travel required: 50%
  • Keep sales pipeline current with only those opportunities that are progressing to commitment
  • Develop account plans with high gain customers and execute against plans and also monitor accounts to ensure volume and gm is performing as planned
  • Discover and capture all pertinent customer information on the opportunity
  • Capture all customer conversations & information in the CRM
  • Build profitable solution to achieve a win/win customer offer
  • Understand complex opportunities and submit complex deals for approval as required as well as understand credit granting requirements
  • Communicate internally with key stakeholders and groups to ensure a great customer experience
  • Forecast opportunities that will close in the next 30/60 days and identify accounts that are retention risks and develop retention strategy
  • Participate in sales meetings as laid out in the sales management meeting cadence

Your Skills:

  • Strong experience in change management, not afraid of technology
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
  • Detail oriented; willing to chase discrepancies to the root

Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education
  • 5+ years equivalent experience
