POSITION: Creative Project Manager
DEPARTMENT: Creative
REPORTS TO: Creative Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you an organizer, multi-tasker, problem solver and amazing communicator? Then this is your chance to join one of the most well-known brands in Canada as the Creative Project Manager.

As the Creative Project Manager, you'll be the glue that holds the Creative department together, and the gatekeeper to all incoming marketing requests. You'll oversee the efficient workflow of projects and be the liaison between the Creative team and all other Canucks Sports & Entertainment departments—from briefing to concept development to execution to file delivery.

This role will focus on:

  • Managing Creative department projects and workflow, including juggling priority of projects, following up on timelines, and booking internal meetings
  • Reviewing creative briefs to ensure necessary information is included
  • Providing input into timelines for deliverables and work with Marketing team and Creative Director to establish workback schedules
  • Collaborating with Creative Director to ensure correct resources (Graphic Designers, Motion Designers, Copywriters) are assigned to each project
  • Checking in regularly with Creative team to ensure members are resourced correctly and on track with projects
  • Proactively looking forward to plan resourcing for cyclical events and campaigns
  • Supporting on planning and operations of creative shoots
  • Taking ownership of department processes and consistently look for ways to improve Creative department function
  • Managing Creative budget and capital expenditure requests

YOU HAVE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, business or project management
  • An extreme attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • This is an onsite role at our office in downtown Vancouver

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:

  • Experience using Wrike (or similar Project Management Software), Adobe CC, and Office 365
  • A love of sport
