Many of these services can be applied across various industries, such as oil & gas, agriculture, construction, roads and infrastructure, laydown yards, and retention ponds. Under the direction of the Vice President, Equipment and Facilities, the Project and Station Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting all current and future construction needs and maintaining all Magnum properties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of property acquisition projects, including making recommendations, executing plans, organizing, budgeting, and cost reporting.
  • Ensure that the goals and objectives of each project are accomplished on schedule and within budget, and that quality and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with different department managers to establish work plans for stages of a project.
  • Ensure that project activities comply with government regulations.
  • Assist with resolution of any problems that may arise during project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings.
  • Obtain condition reporting on current structures.
  • Frequent current structures to ensure that they are up to current standards as far as cleanliness and maintenance. Recommend and implement improvements or changes as needed.
  • Travel to stations to oversee, support, and partake in projects, as required.
  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications - Required

  • Carpentry and/or electrical trades experience.
  • Commercial and residential real estate experience.
  • Able to work some overtime and travel, up to 60% of time.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.

Qualifications - Looking For

  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software, as required.
  • Able to work with a high degree of independence.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety.
  • Customer service focused with excellent client management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and organizational abilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Reliable, dependable with a high degree of flexibility and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated initiative and results orientated.

Qualifications - Assets

  • Ability to research and negotiate contracts.
  • Carpentry and/or Electrician trades certificate.
  • Familiar with all provincial building codes.
