We are currently looking to fill the position of Assistant Project Manager to work within our Waterloo, ON office. ROLE STATUS Type: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Waterloo, ON Department: Construction Reports To: Project Manager Status: This is a newly created position to support current and future operational needs. ABOUT THE ROLE Stonerise Construction is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be responsible for the administrative and technical management of assigned construction projects. These duties include expediting activities related to procurement, contract administration, change orders, submittals, schedule, safety, and quality control. As the Assistant Project Manager, you will: Effectively manage and ensure construction project schedules/deadlines/costs collaboratively with Clients, Project Manager, Management Team and Site Staff Effectively ensure/communicate project schedules, costs, construction quality and site safety collaboratively with all parties Participate in monthly project progress reports to Clients and Stakeholders collaboratively with all parties Assist, manage and ensure construction projects contracts/procurement documentation (CCDC's, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Change Directives etc.) collaboratively with Project Manager and Management Team and Site Staff · Assist, manage and ensure construction design documentation (Shop Drawings, RFI's and Site Instructions, Value Engineering etc.) collaboratively with Consultants, Project Manager, Management Team and Site Staff Participate and assist with project tendering and estimating (RFP's, RFQ's, Q. Estimating etc.) collaboratively with Project Manager, Management Team, Estimating Staff Participate and assist in weekly/bi-weekly/monthly (Client, Consultant, Site and Office Meetings) Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED University or College Degree in Construction Management, Building Service, or equivalent three (3) to five (5) years of construction related experience Strong Organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills WHY YOU’LL LOVE US: At Stonerise, you’ll be part of a team driven by a shared mission, to enrich the lives we touch and communities we help create by doing things the right way. Salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year.
