Job summary
Overview We are in search for a project coordinator for a growing successful fabrication company servicing the construction industry. The successful candidate will perform the following responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor project schedules, deliveries, production timelines Prepare and distribute RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change orders Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to relay project updates Track material orders and ensure on time purchasing in line with project needs Maintain project records and documentation for compliance Support field crews with drawings, schedules, and logistics Assist Project Managers in preparing budgets, reports, and close-out documentation Attend meetings as required, site and in office Excellent opportunity to contribute, grow, and learn with a great organization. Requirements 3+ years of experience of project co-ordination in construction Formal education in materials engineering and/or knowledge of metals Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and fabrication documents Preference to knowledge/experience with structural steel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Experience with project management or fabrication software Legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada on a permanent basis Fluent in verbal and written English
