What are your contributions to the team?
Lead smart manufacturing projects and deployments, with a progressive evolution toward a team leadership role, including building and managing a group of subject matter experts. Support the development and deployment of the Smart Factory (Industry 4.0) roadmap, aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Planning, H&S, IT, Engineering) to integrate artificial intelligence, IoT, automation, and data platforms. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in smart manufacturing. Lead the deployment of smart manufacturing initiatives, including predictive maintenance systems, production and quality data systems, automation and PLC-based improvements, and performance tracking (OEE, reliability, downtime reduction). Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Support Smart Factory investment planning and budget tracking.
How to thrive in this role?
You hold a university degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Operations Management. You have 8 to 15 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical transformation. You have proven experience in Smart Manufacturing / Industry 4.0. You have experience in leading cross-functional projects. You have strong knowledge of: Artificial Intelligence (AI), IoT, automation, and robotics, as well as manufacturing systems (production, maintenance, quality). You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You demonstrate excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are bilingual (French / English).
