Content Marketing Specialist

As a Content Marketing Specialist reporting to the Director of Content Strategy, you’ll lead the creation and delivery of high-impact content for Nasdaq Financial Technology’s Capital Markets Technology solutions. This role is responsible for planning and producing a broad range of B2B content—from thought leadership articles and white papers to blogs, case studies, video and social assets—that strengthens Nasdaq’s position in the market and supports global demand generation efforts.

You’ll thrive in this position if you combine strong editorial judgment with strategic thinking and execution discipline. You bring experience translating complex capital markets and technology topics into clear, engaging narratives and are comfortable working across global teams to deliver content that aligns with go-to-market priorities and resonates with sophisticated financial services audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies for Nasdaq’s Capital Markets Technology offerings, including editorial planning that supports product launches, campaigns, events and key business priorities.

  • Create, write and edit a range of content formats, including long-form articles, blogs, research reports, case studies, webinars, infographics, video scripts and social posts, in partnership with business and product subject matter experts.

  • Align content deliverables with demand generation goals and integrated marketing campaigns, tailoring content to different stages of the B2B marketing funnel to support awareness, engagement and pipeline growth.

  • Optimize content for traditional SEO and AI-assisted search, working with digital stakeholders to improve visibility, track performance and support measurable content impact.

  • Manage multiple content projects from concept through publication, coordinating with product marketing, sales enablement, digital marketing, PR/communications, design, legal, agencies and freelance contributors to maintain quality, consistency and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy or editorial roles, with a focus on B2B marketing and financial services.

  • Proven ability to create high-quality content, with strong writing, storytelling and editing skills and the ability to translate complex financial or technical topics into clear, engaging narratives for target audiences.

  • Experience developing content strategies aligned to business goals, marketing campaigns and the buyer journey, including managing editorial calendars and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong project management, organizational, communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across matrixed teams and incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in capital markets, fintech or enterprise financial services.

  • Familiarity with digital content distribution channels, including web, email, social, SEO and content management systems.

  • Experience with marketing automation, content marketing platforms, SEO tools, analytics tools or emerging content creation technologies, including generative AI tools.
