Consider this opportunity. Ontario Health is seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager to lead complex provincial mental health and addictions programs. This role is ideal for an experienced people leader who can translate strategy into action, manage large-scale operations, build trusted stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement in a high-impact health system environment. Here is what you will be doing: Support the Director in shaping operational and program strategy, including multi-year plans and annual business priorities. Develop the frameworks, tools, and methodologies needed to deliver complex provincial programs effectively. Oversee day-to-day delivery of multiple large and/or complex programs, ensuring priorities, timelines, and outcomes are achieved. Monitor workplans, performance measures, budgets, risks, and issues; provide timely reporting and escalate key matters as needed. Identify opportunities to improve program delivery, propose practical solutions, and lead implementation of agreed-upon changes. Support budget oversight across complex operational areas and contribute to responsible financial management. Lead and develop a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, allocating work, ensuring quality outputs, and managing performance outcomes. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable collaboration, alignment, and support for program objectives. Manage vendor and contractor relationships where required, including contract negotiations, issue resolution, and agreement oversight. Here is what you will need to be successful: Education and Experience Completion of a bachelor's or master's degree, major in business administration, health administration, health informatics, information technology, or recognized equivalent 8-10 years of overall work experience in a similar capacity is required developing, implementing, and evaluating provincial policy aimed at improving clinical care and outcomes and/or health system design, planning, and performance A minimum 4 years of experience leading, developing, and supporting teams through projects, programs, and/or direct people leadership Experience in managing large/complex operations and projects, and overseeing day-to-day operational activities Experience in engaging and soliciting support from key stakeholders in the delivery of operational/program activities An understanding of how the overallOntario Health strategy and direction impacts the various operational areas an asset Strong business acumen; clinical experience is an asset Knowledge and Skills Inclusive people leadership Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Relationship builder Strong negotiator Confident presenter and communicator, both oral and written Strategic thinker Strong numeracy Location: Ontario Health (OH) welcomes applications from candidates across Ontario.
