Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in our Yellowknifeoffice. What you’ll do:
-
Act as Project Engineer and/or Project Manager for civil and transportation infrastructure projects throughout the NWT.

Contribute to the planning, design, and technical delivery of civil engineering projects for a wide range of clients.

Maintain strong communication and client relationships, ensuring expectations are aligned and service goals are met.

Lead project teams in preparing technical reports, designs, and construction services, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.

Support proposal preparation, business development, and marketing efforts within the business area.

Collaborate with the Area Manager, NWT on business planning, staffing strategies, and contributing to the ongoing growth of the group.
Does this sound like you?

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with NAPEG.

5 to 10 years of progressive experience in civil and/or transportation engineering within a consulting environment.

Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.

Self‑motivated and collaborative team player.
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Canada.
-
Comfortable working in remote and northern environments.
-
Proven ability to manage clients and build long‑term relationships.
