Role Description The Construction Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB. This position supports project managers and site teams by coordinating schedules, resources, subcontractors, and materials for commercial construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and tracking project documentation, assisting with permits and inspections, maintaining project records, and updating internal systems. The coordinator will communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve minor issues, and ensure timelines and budgets are respected. The role also involves monitoring project progress, supporting compliance with safety and quality standards, and assisting with change orders and cost tracking as needed. Qualifications Project coordination skills, including scheduling, task tracking, and documentation management. Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and trades, with familiarity in commercial projects considered an asset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects. Basic proficiency with construction management software, spreadsheets, and document management tools. Understanding of safety regulations and willingness to support enforcement of site safety standards. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts is an asset. Relevant education in construction management, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in a construction coordination or site administration role is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work on-site in Calgary, AB, with occasional travel to project locations as required.
