Role Description
REACH is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time, office-based position supporting the project management and estimating team. The successful candidate will assist in project preparation, estimation support, progress tracking, trade coordination, and client communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth workflow from project award through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of project estimates and take-offs Support tendering and bid submission processes Prepare and organize project documentation Track project progress and provide regular updates Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors Communicate with clients regarding project updates and documentation Receive and review new claims, change orders, and project-related documents Support scheduling and internal workflow coordination Maintain organized digital and physical project records
Qualifications
Experience in construction coordination or project support preferred Knowledge of estimating processes and construction documentation Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Working knowledge of construction practices and industry standards Experience with Xactimate is a strong asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
