Groupe Nordik is the leading creator of wellness spa villages, including the largest spa in North America (Chelsea, QC) and the largest event sauna (Whitby, ON). What You Will Do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy, and working in close collaboration with the regional management team, the Manager, Partnerships & Events plays a key role in growing the local presence of the Nordik Spa Village brand. The individual participates in the development and deployment of marketing initiatives, strategic partnerships, and events aimed at increasing brand visibility, generating business opportunities, and supporting the company's growth objectives. This role also involves coordinating field activities, developing business relationships, and managing event projects in line with the corporate strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in developing and adapting the spa's marketing strategy based on local market specifics, in alignment with the company's overall strategy.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships to support visibility and growth objectives while ensuring the profitability of those partnerships. This includes negotiating agreements and monitoring existing partnerships to assess their return on investment.
  • Proactively identify and seize new business opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate revenue. In this role, you will work closely with the management team to develop targeted sales initiatives tailored to the local market. This includes managing partnerships, coordinating media and tourism visits, and negotiating strategic partnerships. The primary goal is to maximize sales, attract new customers, and strengthen public engagement with the brand.
  • Select, develop, and/or participate in local events that contribute to strengthening brand awareness and image, from planning through to execution.
  • Work closely with the spa's management team to understand site-specific needs and adapt local marketing strategies accordingly. Act as the point of contact between the corporate office and the spa for the deployment of the marketing strategy.
  • Oversee the Christmas kiosk program, managing the full campaign from initial strategy to on-site execution. This includes recruiting and managing a dedicated team, organizing operations, and implementing the actions needed to meet established targets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Nordik Spa Village at local events, business meetings, trade shows, and other networking events.
  • Track marketing actions taken and measure the effectiveness of initiatives in terms of visibility, engagement, and ROI. Produce regular reports and event debriefs.
  • Support teams in developing and coordinating content for social media and other communication channels, such as public relations and internal communications, in line with the company's overall communication strategy.

Candidate Profile:

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership and event management or a similar role.
  • Bilingualism required, both oral and written (French and English).
  • Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of HubSpot and ClickUp is an asset.
  • Solid skills in personnel, partnership, and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English and ability to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the wellness, tourism, or spa sector would be an asset.
  • Flexible schedule with availability required in the evenings and on weekends during peak periods, including summer and the holiday season.

Schedule & Status:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week), with regular availability required outside these hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • 4 days on-site and one day of remote work (Thursdays / may vary based on needs).
  • Occasional travel between markets.
