About the role

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of the customer and market landscape, and how brands leverage DemandGen.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity by distilling undefined issues into problem statements and exhibiting excellent judgment in challenging situations along with ability to own complex projects and datasets, manage project scoping, and drive operational excellence.
  • Experience driving a strategic narrative and influencing industry perception at major events and the ability to convey complex information verbally and in writing, establishing links between customer objectives and Google's business objectives.

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team, part of Google’s Global Business Organization (GBO), ensures our complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy and ensuring flawless execution and operations against that strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across those business areas.

As one of GTM’s core regional organizations, the Product Go-To-Market (PGTM team) partners with Google's largest revenue-carrying business unit, Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS), which generates digital ad revenue from large advertisers in the US, Canada, and LATAM. PGTM designs, builds, and drives ALCS Product Activation Strategies that accelerate ALCS growth by: providing clear, unified, objective focus on American product priorities and biggest growth opportunities and empowering sellers with proven approaches, infrastructure, and resources to operate with velocity along with collaborating with regional, global, and functional partners to bring the 'best of Google' to ALCS.

As the home to some of Google’s largest advertisers, you will position the Americas to lead from the front by unlocking new revenue opportunities through YouTube DemandGen. You will manage some of the largest priorities in accelerating YouTube revenue in ALCS specifically DemandGen. You will act as the go to strategy and operations lead, executing against the YouTube DemandGen business for AMER ALCS. You will serve as the go-to subject matter expert and source of truth, innovating new solutions to broad problems and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure YouTube remains competitive.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Canada: $126000 - $130000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits US: $124000 - $178000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive awareness, commercialization and activation of DemandGen across all ALCS anchored to key GBO business objectives and GTM Business Forecast Meetings (BFMs), Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), scaled Plays, Recommended Opportunities (rOpps) etc.
  • Collaborate on forums with sector-level video leads to ensure sector YouTube activation strategies are aligned to ALCS OKRs and BFMs, helping to track and report on progress towards annual goals, providing critical product updates and feedback programs.
  • Collaborate on training, events and author scaled communication to educate ALCS sellers on how to best activate new offerings with their customers.
  • Partner with Global Product Solutions (GPS) Leads (within GPS organization) and other cross-functional partners to drive future DemandGen product development, identify market-level feedback/product gaps, grow the communication efforts, define adoption OKRs, and establish value propositions.
