Role Description The Senior Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Winnipeg, MB, responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating schedules, deliverables, and documentation, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely communication among stakeholders, including project managers, expeditors, inspectors, and logistics teams. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating project plans, following up on action items, assisting with procurement and expediting of materials, and helping resolve issues that could affect timelines or quality. The Senior Project Coordinator will also support inspection activities, maintain accurate records, assist with reporting and compliance requirements, and contribute to process improvements that enhance project efficiency and outcomes. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong project coordination and project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication. Candidates should possess experience in expeditor and expediting activities, ensuring materials, equipment, and documentation are delivered on schedule. Candidates should possess knowledge of inspection processes and quality control practices related to infrastructure or construction projects. Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including coordination of shipments, site deliveries, and related documentation. Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools); familiarity with industry-specific systems is an asset. Relevant post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field, and several years of experience in project coordination or similar roles; experience in infrastructure or construction environments is preferred.
