Job Description
The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls Cost requirements for a mega-project to be built in British Columbia, Canada.
The individual will be responsible for incurred cost, cost flows, coordination of the change management process, analyzing project costs, forecasting, providing variance explanations against the plan, and reporting to internal and external management. Effective communication skills, lump sum project experience, experience with utilizing SAP, time management, and a highly motivated personality are beneficial.
Applicant will spend 18 to 24 months in Yokohama, Japan, with occasional business trips to other destinations including Calgary, Alberta and Houston, Texas. The project site is located in British Columbia and successful applicant could have the opportunity to relocate after the assignment in Japan.
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and fifteen (15) years of work-related Lump Sum execution experience Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Participate in the development and implementation of training courses and mentoring of Project Controls personnel Support and actively participate in Fluor Project Controls Global Initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Must have experience as a Cost Team Lead for a medium to large-sized project Will need to travel internationally for project reasons in support of business-related matters, therefore a Canadian or US passport is required Experience in a Joint Venture environment or project will be considered beneficial
