About the role
Genumark is looking for an experienced and people-driven leader to join our growing team as a Warehouse Manager based out of our Toronto headquarters.
Who We Are
We are an award-winning and rapidly growing company that builds clients’ brands through innovative branded merchandise programs. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Toronto, we now operate across North America, serving some of the most recognized brands on the continent.
Large enough to work with some of North America’s most high-profile brands, we’re also small enough to appreciate the individual contributions that make our success possible. Our team is enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to each other and our clients.
We have been named a top 40 distributor by both ASI and PPAI, recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for the past seven years, and awarded National Distributor of the Year by PPPC more than once. We are a proud B-Corp Certified member since 2023, and most recently recertified in 2026, continuing our part to create a positive impact for society and the environment.
About The Role
Our warehouse is the operational heartbeat of Genumark – high volumes of branded merchandise move in and out daily to support major accounts whose brands are part of everyday life. As the Warehouse Manager, you will lead a team of full-time and temporary associates, ensuring our fulfillment, inventory, kitting, receiving, and shipping operations run accurately and efficiently.
This is both a hands-on floor leadership role and a systems-informed one. You will play a central part in the ongoing optimization of our warehouse technology stack (SkuVault, ShipStation, and Zoho ERP) helping shape how we scale our operations. You bring the discipline to hold the team accountable, the technical curiosity to drive process improvement, and the judgment to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves a meaningful degree of physical activity: lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted, standing for extended periods, and working in various physical positions throughout the shift.
Additionally, this role is based at our Head Office (Gordon Baker Road) and requires working on-site daily.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Warehouse Operations
- Manage all daily warehouse functions: receiving, inventory, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead warehouse-related implementation projects, including planning, testing, training, process roll-out, and post-launch optimization
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Technology teams
- Ensure high levels of order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time fulfillment
- Develop, document, enforce, and maintain warehouse SOPs and best practices
- First point of contact for internal teams regarding warehouse operations
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to proactively identify operational risk, prioritize workload, and ensure client commitments are met
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost
- Ensure the most cost-effective shipping methods are being used and support carrier relationships
Systems & Process
- Lead warehouse system adoption and optimization across platforms such as SkuVault, ShipStation, and Zoho ERP to support scalable operations and continuous improvement
- Develop, implement, and maintain new warehouse process documentation as systems evolve
- Partner with internal teams on systems and process changes
- Identify process gaps and proactively recommend improvements
Inventory Management
- Own inventory accuracy across all warehouse functions
- Oversee cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
- Optimize warehouse layout and slotting to support operational efficiency
- Ability to use an RF scanner and operate warehouse equipment safely
Team Leadership & Workforce Planning
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of warehouse leads and associates
- Manage workforce scheduling and staffing levels to meet fluctuating demand
- Develop seasonal staffing plans and temporary labour strategies
- Establish and track productivity metrics and performance expectations for the team; hold team accountable to them
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment at all times
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
Who You Are
You are a proven warehouse leader, someone who has successfully led a warehouse through operational and systems transformation. Experience in the promotional industry, distribution, or related industries is a plus. You've run a shift, built a team, and kept operations moving under pressure. You understand inventory control, workforce planning, process design, and project execution, and you hold yourself and others to a high standard. Accuracy, communication, and follow-through are non-negotiable to you.
You are equally comfortable on the warehouse floor, in a project meeting, or reviewing operational KPIs. You're systems-savvy, not just comfortable with warehouse technology, but energized by it. You see it as a tool to drive better outcomes, ask questions, flag gaps, and actively contribute to how processes evolve. You're excited by the opportunity to build scalable processes that support future growth.
You commit. You do what you say you'll do, you meet deadlines, and when presented with a challenge, you're focused on finding the solution. You bring a "Yes!" attitude without sacrificing quality or compliance. You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities without dropping the ball.
What We Offer
We’re not just offering a job, we’re offering a platform for your success. Our team is exceptional, our operational ambition is high, and we invest in the people who help us get there. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how our warehouse operates at a genuinely exciting moment in the company’s growth.
We offer a comprehensive benefit package, team events, and a genuine commitment to your well-being and sense of belonging.
As for compensation, the starting salary is $70,000, commensurate with experience.
Ready to lead and make an impact?
We look forward to meeting you!
