The Exhibits & Projects team delivers inspirational and educational visitor experiences in collaboration with Bluecoats across the organization. As a Project Manager you will implement a variety of projects such as capital construction, travelling exhibitions, multimedia shows, permanent exhibits within our two science centres, and external consulting. As the successful candidate you will have experience in project delivery, visitor experience development, and a strong interest in applying and developing project management skills. You will embrace adaptability and resilience, while maintaining a focus on value and quality outcomes. Experience in team leadership, the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and excellent communication skills would be terrific assets. Position Highlights: Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure high-quality visitor experiences and scientific content Develop and monitor the project scope, budget, and schedules Plan and manage risk, resources, communication, stakeholders, and procurement, throughout the project life-cycle Support construction projects, including reviewing estimates, contract administration, site reviews, and progress reports Integrate project management tools and systems for ease of reporting to private and public funders and/or sponsors Promote successful collaboration between internal teams, external partners, and other stakeholders and rightsholders Provide direction to external contractors, designers, and exhibit fabricators Champion innovation and resourceful problem-solving to deliver the best quality within budget Support Science North initiatives and best practices for sustainability, accessibility, equity, diversity, and reconciliation Qualifications: 2-5 years’ experience managing a variety of projects Familiarity with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) - ability to convey project vision, expectations, and goals to diverse audiences Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships and manage stakeholder needs Willingness to create and support a collaborative team environment Ability to adjust to fast-changing environments, re-prioritize tasks, and change course as needed Aptitude for resourceful problem-solving and creative thinking Compensation Highlights: Full-time permanent opportunity Competitive salary starting at $47,300 to $56,000 per year Annual performance and merit increase consideration Participation in the Science North Employee Incentive Plan Flexible work arrangements Comprehensive group benefit package including medical, dental, vision, paramedical, life/travel insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, 24/7 telemedicine access, wellness spending account/ onsite physio/chiro services Pension plan following one year Science North annual family membership Onsite gym Free or discounted admission to other attractions outside Sudbury, Science North facilities and program discounts, fitness membership contribution, on-site parking Professional development opportunities Minimum 3 weeks vacation with incremental entitlements of one week after 5 and 10 yrs of service Free onsite parking Don’t meet every single requirement?
