About Mitrex Mitrex is the world's largest manufacturer of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV). From our state-of-the-art Toronto facility, we manufacture solar facades, cladding, railings, roof panels, and noise barriers that turn building envelopes into clean energy generators. Our projects range from healthcare and education campuses to high-rise residential and infrastructure. We deliver to general contractors as a supply partner and, on select projects, as a supply-and-install partner.

Position Summary We are hiring a Scheduling Coordinator to join our Project Management team. You will own the master project schedules that connect our factory production to our construction project delivery commitments. You will be the single point of truth for project timing across estimating, manufacturing, logistics, and on-site installation, and you will be a key voice in front of our customers, communicating schedule status, risks, and recovery plans.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that a project lives and dies on the alignment between shop drawing approvals, panel manufacturing windows, site readiness, and crane/lift availability.

Key Responsibilities Schedule development and management Build, baseline, and maintain integrated project schedules covering design, shop drawings, procurement, manufacturing, shipping, and site installation Translate GC master schedules and contract milestones into Mitrex-side workstreams and production slots Maintain critical path visibility across multiple concurrent projects Conduct what-if and time-impact analyses when scope, design, or site conditions change

Customer and stakeholder communication Communicate project schedules, milestones, and progress updates directly to customers, general contractors, and project stakeholders in a clear and professional manner Participate in regular project meetings with customers, GCs, sub-trades, and consultants, representing Mitrex on all schedule-related matters Present weekly look-ahead schedules, milestone tracking, and recovery plans to external stakeholders Field schedule-related questions and requests from customers, and turn them around with accurate, timely responses Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer-side project managers and schedulers

Internal coordination Work daily with Project Managers, Design Coordinators, Engineering, Production / Plant operations, Logistics, and Field Install teams to align timelines with capacity Coordinate with general contractors, sub-trades, and clients on milestone confirmations and delivery sequencing Flag conflicts early and propose recovery plans before they hit the project budget or customer relationship

Reporting and controls Issue weekly schedule updates, two-week and four-week look-aheads, and monthly status reports for both internal use and customer distribution Track schedule KPIs (schedule performance index, milestone hit rate, manufacturing-to-install lead time) Document delays, change impacts, and scheduling assumptions for project records and potential claims support Support estimating with realistic schedule inputs during the bid phase

Continuous improvement Help refine our scheduling templates and integration with internal tools Contribute to lessons-learned reviews after project close-out

Required Qualifications 3 to 6 years of scheduling experience in construction, building envelope, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, precast, or a related building products manufacturer Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic data modeling) Ability to read architectural and structural drawings, shop drawings, and contract specifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to lead schedule discussions in customer-facing meetings Eligible to work in Canada
