On-site work location

Located at #215, 9440 202nd Street, Langley, BC V1M 4A6, this full-time permanent position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring 40 hours per week with no weekend shifts.

Why this role matters

The Projects Coordinator supports the Projects Division by ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow and delivering high-quality customer service. They handle key administrative responsibilities that keep the team operating at a high level. This role coordinates, participates in, and facilitates project management documentation, ensuring information is accurate, organized, and accessible. The Projects Coordinator may also act as the lead on smaller projects, guiding tasks and timelines to successful completion. This role will report to the Project Manager.

What to expect in the role

  • Strong customer service mindset: Coordination with customers, suppliers, sales staff, and delivery drivers is central to the role, ensuring a high level of service and a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities: Management of multiple project files, with all project details recorded accurately, kept current, and consistently followed through.
  • High attention to detail: Accuracy in purchase orders and order changes, oversight of product releases and deliveries, and issuance of debit or credit notes. Billing and invoicing for suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors are also key responsibilities.
  • Clear and professional communication skills: Delivery updates and project information are shared with suppliers, contractors, and sales teams. The role may also involve obtaining and redistributing approval drawings from suppliers.
  • Proven multi**-tasking capability:** Handling several projects at once, each with its own deadlines and requirements.
  • Effective team player: Close collaboration with leadership and sales teams, contributing to a supportive and coordinated work environment.
  • Highly motivated: Success in a fast-paced, growing environment with shifting priorities and new challenges.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Project coordination or administration experience, with familiarity in project workflows.
  • Electrical industry experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Approachable, customer-first attitude, with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail, supported by solid administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technically proficient, confident with MS Office and quick to learn new software.
  • Comfort in a busy, open-office environment, managing heavy workloads and interruptions.
  • Ability to shift focus quickly, handling urgent requests and competing priorities.
  • Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Inclusive and collaborative mindset, with respect for cultural diversity.
