TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Bilingual Program Manager (Spanish/English) Job Description
This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid (3 days/ week)
Must-have requirements: Spanish and English language proficiency is mandatory 9+ years of technology program management experience leading large cross-functional/cross-regional teams on major organizational projects primarily dealing with software development releases. Strong experience working with Agile practices such Scrum of scrums (SoS) and Kanban based delivery, longer-term planning (release planning, release train planning). Experience with planning, managing, and reporting program budget and integrated program delivery schedules Create, publish and communicate overall reporting to stakeholders – SteerCo, PMO, status/progress, financials, administrative reports. Work with a team to identify roadmap/feature dependencies and impediments. Being accountable for tracking the dependencies and impediments and removing them to enable the team: surface, track, and escalate.
Nice to have skills: Working experience in JIRA/Confluence. Previous banking experience would be an asset
Soft Skill: Excellent communication skills to deliver presentations at an executive and project team level. Excellent knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand team needs. Knowledge of Lean practices, eliminating waste, focusing on value delivery, small batch production, frequent delivery of working software, and adapting to change. Ability to contextualize the bigger picture across the business landscape to set a strategy and execute on that plan across projects and products. Ability to drive the execution of deliverables across the team through strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
Education: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
