Program Manager, BU Integration – Synergies About the team and role eBay is one of the world's largest and most vibrant marketplaces, connecting millions of buyers and sellers globally to foster economic opportunity. As a pioneer in the e-commerce space, eBay’s strategy is built on several core pillars, chief among them being the C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer) business. As part of this focused C2C strategy, eBay continues to invest in the future of the circular economy and the next generation of conscious consumers. To support this growth, we are looking for a strategic operator to drive value across our expanding portfolio. Reporting to the Director, C2C Global Business Operations, this role will support the execution of M&A integration priorities and the realization of business-unit synergies between eBay Core and its subsidiaries. The role will partner closely with the lead of commercial synergies, helping turn strategic value drivers into clear workplans, roadmaps, operating cadences, decision forums, and cross-functional execution. This is a hands-on program management role for someone who brings structure to ambiguity, keeps complex work moving, and ensures teams stay aligned on priorities, milestones, dependencies, and risks. You will serve as a day-to-day partner to the synergy lead, coordinating across eBay, subsidiary teams, and shared service teams to help the organization move quickly and effectively. The role spans both customer-facing synergy initiatives—such as shipping, payments, cross-listing, ads, trust/compliance, and other value-added services—and the operating rigor needed to execute them well, including governance, risks and dependency management, executive updates, readiness tracking, and value capture reporting. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional coordination, excellent judgment, and the ability to create momentum across multiple teams and stakeholders. What you will accomplish Partner closely with the Director, BU Integration Lead – Synergies to drive day-to-day planning and execution of the synergy roadmap. Translate strategic synergy goals into actionable program plans with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, timelines, and success metrics. Run the operating cadence for synergy execution, including workback plans, weekly check-ins, decision tracking, RAID reviews, status reporting, and follow-up actions. Coordinate cross-functional planning across product, business, operations, finance, legal, compliance, customer experience, and shared services teams. Help define business requirements and readiness plans for service activation initiatives such as shipping, cross-listing, payments, ads, trust/compliance, and related marketplace capabilities. Build and maintain core governance artifacts, including roadmaps, RAID logs, dependency maps, decision logs, synergy dashboards, and executive-ready updates for WBRs, MBRs, SteerCos, and leadership reviews. Track synergy progress and value capture against plan; identify risks, gaps, and execution blockers early, and drive resolution or escalation as needed. Support cutover and business readiness planning for launches and transitions, ensuring operational, customer, policy, and stakeholder readiness. Facilitate strong ways of working between eBay and its subsidiaries by clarifying roles, decision rights, and working norms while respecting brand strengths and differing operating models. Improve execution quality and speed by bringing discipline, transparency, and accountability to complex cross-functional workstreams. How you will contribute Synergy initiatives are delivered on time, with clear ownership, tracked dependencies, and minimal execution drift. Governance and reporting are high quality, on time, and decision-useful for the business unit and executive stakeholders. Risks, issues, and dependencies are surfaced early and actively managed, with strong closure rates and limited escalation surprises. Cross-functional teams remain aligned on priorities, milestones, and readiness requirements. Synergy scorecards and dashboards accurately track delivery progress, value capture, and key KPI trends. Post-close initiatives move from strategy to execution quickly, with strong follow-through and operational discipline. Stakeholder confidence and decision velocity improve across teams. What you will bring 8+ years of experience in program management, business operations, PMO, integration management, or cross-functional strategic execution roles. Proven ability to manage large, complex, multi-stakeholder programs with many moving parts. Strong program management fundamentals: planning, dependency management, RAID management, governance, executive reporting, and meeting orchestration. Ability to turn high-level strategy into structured execution plans and operating mechanisms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create concise, executive-ready materials and clear working-level documentation. Strong analytical skills and comfort building KPI frameworks, dashboards, and status narratives from incomplete or evolving inputs. Experience partnering across product, operations, finance, legal, compliance, and go-to-market teams. Strong judgment, follow-through, and the ability to drive progress in ambiguous environments. Collaborative, low-ego, and highly organized; comfortable working across teams, functions, and cultures. Marketplace, platform, M&A integration, or commercialization experience is a plus. Familiarity with one or more of the following is helpful: shipping/logistics, payments, inventory/cross-listing, ads, trust/compliance, customer experience, or marketplace operations. Role may require periodic travel to London, typically around once per month, to support collaboration with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
