We’re seeking a Practice Lead, with significant post trade operations experience within Capital Markets and/or Wealth Management to help grow our consulting capability and associated revenue in the emerging technologies practice within Broadridge Consulting. The ideal candidate will have previous consulting business development experience and is not intimidated working within a financial quota system. The candidate will have working knowledge of and interest in emerging technologies and their practical uses in the post trade operations space. They will be expected to advise clients on the application of these technologies. Technologies can include Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) / Blockchain, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI), Smart-Processing including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), etc. Advice can also be on issues such as digitization, modernization of the technology stack, cloud migration, etc. We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote. Business Development Utilize personal, well established senior industry relationships to build a pipeline of consulting/advisory opportunities to drive efficiencies in the post trade operations space Develop consulting value propositions / offerings covering clearing, settlement, asset services, regulatory reporting, risk management and finance/general ledger optimization Take ownership of and manage the entire life cycle of a consulting sales process to a client. Develop leads (through working with existing consulting clients, through our sales and account management team, through leveraging their own professional network), pitch proposals to clients, negotiate SOWs and launch projects Maintain an ongoing market presence to establish Broadridge Consulting as a top-of-mind Emerging Technologies consulting firm for Asset Management, Wealth Management and Capital Markets clients Working knowledge of how AI is changing the dynamics of traditional operational support functions and the effect on people, process, and technology. Deliver with Quality Manage, guide engagement teams that are delivering consulting engagements. Develop analytical approaches, delegate work to engagement leads / project managers, monitor progress, check quality of deliverables, ensure high level of client satisfaction Attend client steering committee meetings, act as a point of issue escalation for engagements, present findings to client executive teams Drive towards on-time and on-budget delivery of consulting engagements Build-out Practices including Thought Leadership Create thought leadership (industry perspectives) that will make clients want to engage with Broadridge Consulting on Emerging Technologies topics Create toolkits and playbooks that make delivery easier, follow a repeatable model and bring to clients Broadridge’s collective experience Develop Junior Consultants Train and mentor junior consultants in the consulting discipline Manage utilization targets Collaborate with Broadridge Network Work closely with Broadridge colleagues from outside Professional Services (e.g., Product, Sales, Business Development) to bring the ‘best of Broadridge’ to clients Lead, participate and contribute to company-wide efforts, e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, Recruitment Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience with financial services firms, FinTech companies, or with consulting firms exposing the candidate. Strong back and middle office operations expertise with the ability to drive STP efficiencies via emerging AI technologies Understanding of the Operations and Technology landscape at Asset Managers Familiarity with the financial language (lexicon, taxonomy) and trends in the Asset Management industry Excellent communication skills. Both verbal and written Ability to ‘face-off’ with senior clients through demonstrating a reasonable degree of executive presence Collaborative workstyle and with a desire to develop others Bachelors or equivalent required, and an MBA or equivalent preferred Compensation Salary Range: CAD $240,000- $260,000 .
