Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This role involves overseeing various phases of new construction projects, coordinating between teams, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and proficiency with standard office software. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule commercial projects, including installations and service work
- Work closely with sales, operations, and field teams to ensure timelines are met
- Monitor project progress and update schedules as required
- Communicate with Customers and internal teams regarding schedules and project status
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and records
- Assist with procurement and tracking of materials as needed
- Identify scheduling conflicts and provide proactive solutions
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure project accuracy
- Review and analyze construction estimates
- Collaborate with Customer site staff and project management, architects, engineers, contractors, installers and internal staff to facilitate smooth project execution
- Monitor project progress, update schedules, and communicate status reports regularly
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site
- Manage documentation including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and other project records
- Assist in procurement activities and track delivery of materials and equipment
Experience
- Previous proven experience in project coordination, scheduling, or a similar role (construction or related industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
This position is integral to the successful delivery of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to project coordination.
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
