Location Address: 100 Queens Quay East, 9th Floor, Toronto Number of Openings: 1 Pay: $74,671.00 - $130,424 Job Posting Description: This is an onsite role #LI-Onsite Reporting to the Director, Content the Digital Publishing Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the digital publishing function within a high‑volume, fast‑paced retail environment. You will be the direct supervisor of the team responsible for publishing content across various LCBO digital properties, including websites, email, mobile app, and others. You will bridge content execution empowering publishers, managing workflows, ensuring quality, and aligning publishing output with LCBO business goals and the promotional planning calendar. As the primary contact for digital publishing, you work closely with cross‑functional partners across the organization. About the Role Oversee daily publishing tasks to ensure high-quality execution. Mentor team members on publishing tools, content best practices. Be the first point of escalation for publishing issues; troubleshoot blockers and coordinate resolutions. Publish, update, and QA complex or high‑visibility content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Magento. Work with AEM components, templates, experience fragments, content fragments, and DAM assets. Ensure that you structure, tag, SEO-optimize, and make content accessibility compliant (WCAG). Maintain publishing schedules and prioritize incoming requests based on urgency, complexity, and campaign impact. Conduct QA checks on pre-production and live content to resolve issues such as broken links, formatting errors, missing assets, and accessibility gaps. Partner with marketing, creative, digital teams and cross-divisional partners (Corporate Communications, Merchandising, SOS) to align publishing deliverables with broader campaigns and business priorities. About You 5–10 years of experience in digital publishing, web content operations, or content management, with 5+ years in a managerial or team lead role. Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Working knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals and experience with digital asset management tools. Understanding of SEO principles, web publishing QA, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Familiarity with workflow/project management tools such as Trello, Jira, Adobe Workfront, SharePoint. Experience using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics). Experience working in large-scale, cross-functional web environments. Experience operating in agile or content sprint workflows. Experience with UX/UI principles and digital experience best practices.
