What You Will Do You aren’t just an electrician; you are the technical bridge between a problem and a solution. This role is designed for a seasoned Red Seal professional who is ready to move off the tools and into a strategic office environment.
Master the Technical Sales Cycle: You will take ownership of deficiency quotes identified during inspections, turning technical reports into clear, actionable solutions for our clients. Strategic Project Coordination: Move beyond the install. You will manage the coordination of small to emergency system replacements, ensuring the right parts and the right technicians are in the right place at the right time. The Technical Authority: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer technical assistance and education. You will also mentor and coach our field technicians, sharing your experience to elevate the entire team. High-Level Problem Solving: While your home is the office, your expertise is needed in the field for specialized technical assistance, suppression system fire alarm packages, and complex “adds, moves, and changes.” Efficiency & Excellence: You will work closely with the Service Manager and Sprinkler Fitter Foreman & Estimator to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest industry standards.
Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a veteran of the trade who possesses a big picture mindset. You have spent years mastering the craft and are now looking for a role where your brain is your primary tool, backed by a career of hands-on experience. The Red Seal Standard: You are a Red Seal Certified Electrician with a diverse background in the trade that allows you to walk onto any site and understand the electrical landscape. A Decade of Mastery: You bring at least 10 years of experience to the table, some within the fire alarm and life safety industry would be an asset. Strategic Communicator: You can translate complex technical requirements into language that customers and stakeholders understand, whether in a formal quote, a Teams call, or a face-to-face meeting. Computer & Systems Savvy: You have above-average proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and are comfortable learning new project management and quoting software like Sage 100. Leadership & Mentorship: You have a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor others. You are calm under pressure and take pride in the follow-through of every project. The Non-Negotiables: Red Seal Electrician 10 or more years of varied Electrician Experience Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an insurable drivers abstract. Physical ability to perform the essential duties of the role, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment up to 50lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation). High School Diploma (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in English (verbal and written). Financial Security & Growth Scalable Wages: Competitive hourly rates ranging from $40.00, depending on your experience.
