This provides strong exposure across all phases of execution—from planning and scheduling through shutdown execution and startup readiness. You’ll work within fast-paced, high-pressure turnaround environments where precision, coordination, and strong communication are critical to success. This role is based in Fort McMurray and supports a major turnaround project with rotational work schedules. Essential Responsibilities Support safe, efficient field execution during turnaround projects while meeting quality standards Coordinate multi-disciplinary crews across civil, concrete, earthworks, and structural scopes Plan and oversee rigging and lifting activities in compliance with safety requirements Assist with daily planning, crew coordination, and workface execution while interfacing with other trades Track field progress, identify productivity or schedule risks, and help resolve issues proactively Collaborate with project teams and site leadership to align on priorities, schedules, and constraints Ensure compliance with HSE standards, participate in safety initiatives, and lead by example in the field Support quality control, resource coordination, reporting, and clear communication across crews and shifts Qualifications 5+ years of industrial construction experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments Strong background in turnaround and shutdown execution Experience with civil construction, including concrete and earthworks (dirt work) Ironworker or structural steel experience with exposure to rigging activities Solid understanding of rigging practices and lift planning fundamentals Proven ability to coordinate crews in fast-paced industrial or turnaround settings Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work packages Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety excellence Working Conditions Site-based position in Fort McMurray, AB Rotational schedule supporting a major turnaround project Day shift and night shift work required Camp accommodations and travel provided (where applicable) Physically demanding environment with exposure to industrial site conditions Additional Information The Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
