About the role
Rumble is the Freedom-First technology platform. We proudly offer a video platform, cloud services, advertising solutions, and a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet. Rumble Cloud is building and operating a modern cloud platform on top of OpenStack, Ceph, and Kubernetes, supported by core infrastructure and cloud engineering teams. As a Project Manager (Cloud / Infrastructure), you’ll orchestrate day-to-day execution across these teams, acting as the connective tissue between engineering, security, compliance, and adjacent stakeholders. This is a hands-on program management role rather than a purely administrative one. You’ll maintain clear backlogs, roadmaps, and delivery plans across infrastructure and cloud workstreams, integrate security and compliance activities (particularly ISO 27001 and related frameworks) into the engineering cadence, and help ensure projects land reliably while keeping risk, audit, and control requirements visible and manageable. You’ll partner with platform, application, DevSecOps, and documentation teams, as well as product, security, compliance, support, and executive stakeholders, to keep work organized and transparent. If you enjoy working in cloud and infrastructure environments, understand how IaaS and CI/CD-driven teams operate, and are comfortable weaving security and compliance into technical delivery, this role aligns well. Responsibilities Organize, prioritize, and track work across core infrastructure teams with a particular focus on Cloud Engineering (platform, application, DevSecOps, documentation), maintaining a clear backlog, roadmap, and delivery plan. Embed security and compliance into standard planning cycles, coordinating audit activities end to end and tracking security KPIs/SLAs such as vulnerability remediation, patch cadence, and control exceptions. Serve as the primary program management interface between infrastructure and cloud teams and adjacent functions (product, security, compliance, support, executives), partnering with team members on audit, risk, and control status. Coordinate cross-team dependencies across IaaS, SaaS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code initiatives, ensuring that sequencing and ownership are clear and visible. Continuously refine program management tooling, templates, and processes (intake, change management, exception handling) to improve delivery predictability and clarity. Support planning and execution for major infrastructure and cloud projects (platform upgrades, security initiatives, capacity expansions), driving timelines, status reporting, and risk/issue mitigation. Maintain crisp documentation of program plans, decisions, risks, and control mappings in tooling such as Jira, GitHub/GitLab Issues, Confluence, or Notion. Influence outcomes across engineering, security, and compliance teams without direct authority, using data, clear communication, and structured follow-up to keep work on track. Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a program or project manager supporting infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering teams. Strong working understanding of how cloud and infrastructure organizations operate, including IaaS, SaaS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Proven track record integrating security, risk, and compliance activities into engineering delivery, including hands-on audit coordination (evidence collection and finding remediation). Proficiency with program management tooling such as Jira, GitHub/GitLab Issues, Confluence, or Notion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational capabilities across multiple concurrent workstreams. Ability to influence outcomes across teams without direct authority, using structured communication and follow-through. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience supporting or managing ISO 27001 certification or surveillance audits, a significant plus. Familiarity with additional frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, or NIST 800-53. Project or program management (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2), IT service management (ITIL), and/or Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe). A background in technical roles (engineering, systems administration, security) prior to moving into program management. Experience with public cloud and IaaS products and familiarity with OpenStack, Kubernetes, or Ceph ecosystems. Annual Compensation Range: $125,000 - $150,000 USD base + benefits + equity (If based in the United States) $118,000 - $133,000 CAD base + benefits + equity (If based in Canada) Note: The salary range listed for this position is a good faith estimate based on experience, qualifications, and internal compensation structure.
