Arnprior Regional Health is a 140-bed multi-site healthcare organization, located less than 30 minutes northwest of Ottawa and provides care across the continuum of Hospital acute care, Long-Term care, and Community-based services. With an annual operating budget exceeding $50 million, the corporation has over 400 staff, 200 volunteers, and a growing number of over 50 medical staff providing exemplary care. We currently have an opportunity for a Full-Time Manager, Enterprise Projects. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Support Services, CFO, the Manager, Enterprise Projects is responsible for leading, coordinating, and implementing a portfolio of enterprise-wide projects across clinical, information technology, and strategic initiatives.

The role will provide project leadership, governance, and oversight for multiple concurrent initiatives that advance Arnprior Regional Health’s strategic priorities, including digital transformation, clinical modernization, capital development, and operational improvement. The Manager will maintain integrated project plans, ensure effective stakeholder engagement, coordinate cross-functional teams, and provide reporting into ARH governance structures.

In carrying out the above duties, the incumbent must be fully knowledgeable and committed to understanding and abiding by ARH’s mission, vision, and values while complying with applicable policies/procedures, including, but not limited to, the code of conduct, health and safety, confidentiality/privacy, risk management, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities:

Project Management / Enterprise Delivery

  • Develop, lead, and manage the delivery of enterprise-wide projects spanning clinical, digital, infrastructure, and corporate priorities.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, resources, risks, deliverables, and reporting across multiple initiatives.
  • Ensure projects align with ARH organizational priorities, strategic goals, and available resources.
  • Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams and support collaboration across departments.
  • Monitor risks, issues, scope changes, and benefits realization, escalating as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and support smooth operational integration during implementation.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned to future initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the scope of the role.

Governance & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and reporting processes.
  • Provide project status, risk, financial, and performance updates to leadership and governance committees.
  • Support decision-making with timely project information and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and project management best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to support successful project delivery.
  • Engage clinical, operational, IT, and external partners to align project goals, workflows, and change initiatives.
  • Lead presentations, provide leadership updates, and support effective change management and adoption.

Financial Management

  • Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
  • Report on financial performance and variances for projects within the portfolio.
  • Support procurement processes, vendor management, and contract oversight related to project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and identify opportunities for cost efficiency.

Professional / Personal Development

  • Maintain knowledge of current best practices in project management, healthcare transformation, and digital health.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities.

  • Contribute to the development of project management capability and maturity within ARH.

Qualifications:

Education

  • University Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • Education or certification in Project Management or Change Management required (e.g., PMP, Prosci, Agile, Lean).
  • Clinical background, formal clinical training, or demonstrated experience working in clinical environments (e.g., acute care, long-term care, ambulatory care) considered a strong asset.
  • Postgraduate education or equivalent experience are considered an asset.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stream projects or portfolios in healthcare or a comparable environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving clinical, operational, and technology stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly within or alongside clinical programs (e.g., acute care, LTC, ambulatory care) with a strong understanding of patient care delivery models
  • Demonstrated experience in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working within formal project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, and external partners.
  • Confidence in providing advice and constructive challenge at senior level.
  • Considerable experience in stakeholder management and engagement.
  • Experience of dealing with complex/sensitive issues.

Salary range**:** $128,700.00 to $144,846.00
