Responsibilities

Lead the team in developing new products, including hardware circuits and mechanical components. Lead the manufacturing team in optimizing the production process and developing new testing protocols. Manage the schedules for new product development. Lead efforts to transition products from design to mass production, including the development and implementation of robust testing processes that meet all compliance and reliability requirements. Troubleshoot issues during production and implement continuous improvements. Manage product documentation, including yield enhancement, Bill of Materials (BOM) and production release documents. Drive cost-reduction initiatives, including yield enhancement, test-time reduction, and package optimization. Support customer audits and failure analysis (FA). Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure product designs are executed with attention to quality and precision. Oversee quality assurance processes during mass production to maintain and enhance product yield rates, ensuring high standards are consistently met.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. More than 10 years of experience in product design and product engineering, preferably within the IT industry. Experience in production processes and product validation. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and C++. Familiarity with compliance testing and certification including UL & CE. Strong professional integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with factories and team members in Asia; fluency in Mandarin is required/preferred.
