This position is with our wonderful friend and partner Fittz Commercial Interiors. A furniture dealership with a wealth of experience and wonderful international product. We will be looking for a Project Coordinator that has great attention to detail, experience with coordinating multi-vendors, on several projects and has access to a vehicle. This will be an in person position and your location being in the west end of the GTA would be an asset. Furniture experience is not a must but product experience with many parts and skews is a benefit.
Role Description The Project Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for coordinating design projects from concept through delivery, including scheduling, task tracking, and maintaining project documentation. The Project Coordinator will liaise with internal teams, junior designers, and external partners to ensure clear communication, timely follow-up, and alignment on project goals and milestones. Daily responsibilities include organizing meetings, preparing status reports, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and identifying risks or bottlenecks. The role also involves supporting research activities, assisting with proposal and presentation preparation, and contributing to process improvements that enhance project efficiency. Qualifications Project coordination and organizational skills, including scheduling, task management, and maintaining detailed project documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, junior designers, clients, and external partners. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with basic project management tools and software (e.g., spreadsheets, shared workspaces, task management platforms). Analytical and research skills to support project scoping, problem-solving initiatives, and insight-driven recommendations. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues, proposing solutions, and improving processes. Interest or experience in design, creative industries, or consultancy environments; familiarity with sustainable or human-centered design is an asset. Post-secondary education in project management, design, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in the Greater Toronto Area, with flexibility to support events, installations, or partner meetings as needed.
