This internship is an opportunity to work directly with our Founder and Product Team to help shape a fast-growing, global tech product from the inside out.
What You'll Learn You'll gain practical, resume-ready experience in product management, agile development, customer research, and market analysis while helping guide the direction of an active launch. You'll learn how to: Write and refine user stories and acceptance criteria for new features Prioritize bugs and enhancements using real feedback from users Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the beauty-tech space Plan and execute customer interviews and product discovery initiatives Collaborate with developers to clarify product requirements and timelines Participate in sprint planning, QA triage, and feature testing Use tools like Jira/ClickUp, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google Sheets, Figma, and Notion for product tracking and analysis Translate customer insights into product recommendations and feature improvements
ResponsibilitiesProduct Management & Operations Document and organize product requirements, user stories, and engineering tickets Support backlog refinement and bug triage sessions Draft feature specifications and acceptance criteria for upcoming releases Help coordinate communication between product, design, and development teams Assist in preparing product reports, launch summaries, and presentation materials Research & Competitive Analysis Research competitor platforms and summarize key insights Analyze beauty-tech trends and emerging opportunities across different markets Conduct market analysis to support feature prioritization and business decisions Customer Outreach & User Research Identify and reach out to beauty professionals for product interviews and surveys Support customer discovery initiatives across North America and West Africa Conduct user interviews to understand booking behaviors, pain points, and unmet needs Document customer feedback and translate findings into actionable product recommendations Help build research reports that influence future product and marketing decisions Testing & Quality Assurance Participate in feature testing and QA processes Validate new functionality before launch Reproduce bugs and provide detailed documentation for engineering teams Support onboarding and usability testing initiatives You're a Great Fit If You: Are a student or recent graduate in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, UX, Marketing, or a related program (Canada only) Need to complete an internship for school credit or practical experience Have a strong interest in technology, startups, beauty, and innovation Are organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Enjoy problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration Feel comfortable speaking with customers and conducting interviews or surveys Have strong written communication and research skills Have basic familiarity with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Notion, Jira, or ClickUp Are curious and enjoy understanding why users behave the way they do Application Questions Please share any projects, GitHub links, research work, or demos you have worked on. School projects and personal projects are both acceptable. This is an unpaid internship for 3 months, with the possibility of a paid role after successful completion.
