Position: Data Project Manager(Data Engineering experience must)
Location: Remote
Duration: Full Time Employment
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics projects. Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and QA teams. Manage Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Track project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership. Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Ensure data engineering best practices and governance standards are followed. Collaborate with cloud engineering teams for deployment and migration activities. Monitor project KPIs, deliverables, and quality standards. Drive continuous process improvements and delivery excellence. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of IT experience with 3+ years managing Data Engineering projects. Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data pipelines. Experience managing projects involving cloud platforms such as: AWS Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Technical Skills
SQL Spark / PySpark Databricks Snowflake Microsoft Fabric Azure Data Factory (ADF) Apache Airflow Kafka Delta Lake Data Lake Power BI (preferred) Terraform (preferred) Preferred Certifications
