We're looking for experienced Foreman to lead our construction crews, deliver quality work safely, and help shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople on our Northern projects, specifically in Nunavut on a 21/7 rotation. What You'll Do

As a Foreman, you'll provide day-to-day leadership on site while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Penn-co's high standards. Responsibilities include: Leading concrete and general construction crews on commercial projects Planning daily work activities and coordinating labour, equipment, and materials Creating and maintaining crew schedules Ensuring projects are adequately staffed and team members are prepared for daily work Supervising concrete placement, formwork, finishing, and overall workmanship Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing challenges or delays Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity Leading daily toolbox meetings and communicating project goals and safety expectations Identifying and mitigating jobsite risks Resolving issues professionally while fostering a positive team environment Mentoring and developing crew members Maintaining accurate site reports and documentation

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people as much as building projects. Qualifications: Red Seal Carpenter certification or equivalent industry experience Extensive commercial construction experience, including concrete work Proven experience supervising construction crews Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment Willingness to travel and work on remote projects as required
