Vous appuierez le gestionnaire de l’installation dans ses responsabilités sur le site tout en maintenant une présence visible sur le terrain afin de soutenir la réalisation des activités requises. Le rôle consiste à coordonner les efforts d’installation, à appuyer l’exécution des travaux sur site, à suivre l’achèvement des processus assignés et à contribuer au maintien de l’avancement et de la qualité du projet. Grâce à la supervision des activités d’installation et d’essais, vous contribuerez à la mise en œuvre fiable des projets d’infrastructure électrique et à la réalisation des travaux d’installation HVDC. Votre impact Diriger les activités d’installation sur site pour les projets HVDC et les postes haute tension. Coordonner les activités avec les équipes de génie civil, de mise en service, de logistique et de qualité afin de soutenir l’exécution du projet. Encadrer et soutenir les entrepreneurs en installation afin de respecter les exigences en matière de sécurité, de qualité et d’échéancier. Suivre l’avancement du projet et traiter les risques et les retards. Représenter Hitachi Energy lors des rencontres avec les clients et des inspections. Soutenir et accompagner les membres juniors de l’équipe et les nouvelles recrues. Superviser la gestion du matériel, la documentation et l’état de préparation des équipements. Reporting to the Regional Manager of HVDC Installation, you will support installation work across health, safety, environment, quality control, programme, and execution activities. You will assist the Installation Manager with site responsibilities while maintaining a visible on-site presence to support the execution of required activities. The role involves coordinating installation efforts, supporting site execution, monitoring completion of assigned processes, and helping maintain project progress and quality. Through oversight of installation and testing activities, you will contribute to the reliable implementation of power infrastructure projects and support the delivery of HVDC installation work. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead on-site installation activities for HVDC and high-voltage substations. Coordinate with civil, commissioning, logistics, and quality teams to support project execution. Guide and support installation contractors in meeting safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Monitor project progress and address risks and delays. Represent Hitachi Energy during client meetings and inspections. Support and coach junior team members and new hires. Oversee material handling, documentation, and equipment readiness. Provide updates and reports to senior management and review construction schedules to support project delivery. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada. Formal electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, trade qualification, or degree. Proven experience with HVDC or high-voltage substations (345–500 kV). knowledge of high-voltage equipment assembly, installation, and testing. Strong knowledge of P6, MS Excel, Procore, and BIM/ACC (final user).
