What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy, Modernization and Optimization, the Director, Product - Simplii Hub, you'll lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery priorities for Simplii’s agent servicing platform. In this role, you'll be responsible for building and evolving the tools, workflows, and integrations that empower our frontline and operations teams to serve clients faster, more consistently, and with stronger operational controls. As the single point of accountability for what gets built and why, you'll translate client, frontline, operational, risk, and business needs into a clear product roadmap and prioritized backlog for a cross-functional squad.
At Simplii we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
How you'll succeed
- Product Vision & Strategy – Own and continuously refine the product vision for Simplii Hub, ensuring the platform enables faster, simpler, and more consistent servicing across contact centre and operational teams. Translate strategic objectives into a clear product roadmap, outcome-based goals, and measurable success metrics. Identify opportunities to simplify and automate high-volume servicing journeys, reduce frontline friction, improve handoffs, and strengthen control-ready servicing processes.
- Backlog Ownership & Delivery Leadership – Use product discovery, frontline feedback, operational data, and performance telemetry to shape MVP scope, sequence releases, and refine priorities. Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, outcome-focused, and prioritized based on client value, business impact, and delivery complexity. Make trade-off decisions transparently and decisively, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform health. Lead agile ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and backlog refinement; accept completed work against clear outcomes, acceptance criteria, risk/control expectations, and user experience standards. Proactively manage dependencies, risks, and sequencing across initiatives connected to your product area.
- Stakeholder & Client Engagement – Act as the primary product decision-maker, partnering closely with contact centre and operations leaders, frontline users, technology, risk, compliance, change management, analytics, and enterprise servicing platform teams. Gather and synthesize input from clients, frontline teams, analytics, and subject-matter experts to inform priorities and product evolution. Communicate product direction, progress, and outcomes clearly to senior leaders and delivery teams.
- Value Measurement & Continuous Improvement – Define and track product performance using meaningful measures such as client experience, adoption, operational efficiency, and cost-to-serve. Inspect delivered outcomes, incorporate learnings, and adjust priorities to continuously increase value. Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within the product and delivery teams.
