Client is seeking a Senior E2E QA Lead to lead the cross-functional quality strategy for a major transformation program focused on integrating Guidewire ClaimCenter with the internal ecosystem. The role requires expertise in both QA governance (strategy, test plans, KPIs, reporting) and field execution (UAT BI, defects, traceability, artifacts). The candidate must have direct knowledge of property and casualty insurance claims processes; industry-specific abstractions are insufficient in this context. The ideal candidate will have cross-functional leadership skills rather than technical expertise in automation. We are seeking a Quality Assurance Expert to fill the role of “Senior E2E QA Lead / Cross-functional Quality Manager” who has experience leading major projects, including strategy, quality assurance, and test execution within a significant transformation program involving the integration of Guidewire ClaimCenter with the internal ecosystem. As the project is being carried out in collaboration with an IT integrator, the vendor, and our business unit, and given that the majority of these individuals are English-speaking, the working language of the project is primarily English. A high level of proficiency is required for understanding, speaking, reading, and written communication. Ultimately, the candidate must be fully functional in both English and French, as some aspects of the project remain exclusively in French.
Requirements Main Responsibilities BI Analytics: Support for the BI team (QA best practices, coverage, deliverables) Lead and guide our BI & Analytics UAT tests with our business unit Manage our defects (senior defect manager role) Ensure the consistency and effectiveness of QA practices to guarantee optimal test coverage and reduce production risks Control the extended quality of test coverage and execution (Story, SIT, Pre-UAT, UAT) Ensure that the test coverage of our Integration System is adequate Support QA for security validations with the RSI Support our Product Owners in test case closure decisions (DoD criteria) Validate our test strategies and plans (all components/streams) Ensure the traceability of all test artifacts Participate in QA dependency and risk management Analyze KPIs (tests, automation, defects) and Make remediation recommendations Participate in the production of the "QA Weekly Status Report" Plan and manage the cross-functional End-to-End (E2E) testing phase of the system etc… Coordinate the QA alignment of the project with the various teams involved Participate in and align with the automation strategy Support and align the quality of test data Have a comprehensive quality vision (shift-left, risk-based testing)
General Profile sought 8-10+ years in IT quality assurance Demonstrate strong leadership, autonomy, and influence Have significant experience in QA within the property and casualty insurance sector and in-depth knowledge of claims system processes Be action/solution-oriented Be strong interpersonal and writing skills Be proficient with available tools (JIRA, Confluence Xray, automation and performance tools, etc.) Be results-oriented Demonstrated experience as a QA Lead on complex programs Experience in multi-platform system integration
The following will be considered an asset: Experience with software integration projects Knowledge of property and casualty insurance Knowledge of the Guidewire software package (claim center/contact manager) Knowledge of the client ecosystem
