Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the steel industry. The successful candidate will oversee projects from estimating through to completion, working closely with clients, engineers, detailers, shop, and field crews. This role is ideal for someone with several years of project management experience who is ready to take on more complex projects while contributing to a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple steel projects from award to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams (estimating, detailing, fabrication, and field crews) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and track schedules, budgets, change orders, and progress reports.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, and site representatives.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained on all projects.

Qualifications

• 3?6 years of project management experience in structural and/or miscellaneous steel.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection practices.
• Proven ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and MS Office.
• Post-secondary education in construction, engineering, or related field is an asset.
• Valid driver?s license (occasional site travel required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
