Why This Role Is Important As a key member of our OTT team, you will work closely with product managers, architects and technical leads. Your primary focus will be to drive seamless product development within your domain and co-ordinate the technical initiatives required to deliver new features. You will ensure that all deliverables align with the guidelines, standards and practices established by the development leadership team. Key Responsibilities Consolidate and coordinate deliverables across five distinct teams and more than five platforms to define and document the scope of our recurring Agile release trains. Coordinate go-live operations and post-launch monitoring alongside platform developers on a rotational basis. Partner with the QA Lead to co-ordinate pre- and post-deployment testing cycles. Define, document and track performance indicators for our deployment workflows. Propose and lead initiatives that accelerate and optimize our deployment workflows. Plan, coordinate and document mandatory updates across all application platforms. Plan, coordinate and document the use of feature flags in close collaboration with product managers. Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Enterprise Architect to define and track Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) objectives. Serve as the subject matter expert for SRE practices, working closely with the Cross-Functional SRE Lead to keep internal expertise up to date and relevant. Foster and lead an SRE community of practice within the OTT team, encouraging team members’ active participation and engagement in community activities. Maintain inventories and documentation for various dashboards. Build strong, high-level collaborative relationships with external SRE teams through cross-functional dashboard integration. Ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Maximize uptime and maintain up-to-date development and integration environments, particularly for automated testing. Document the use and manage the inventory of development and integration environments. What You Bring University degree or equivalent experience. Five to seven years’ IT experience (as a developer, QA engineer, etc.). Hands-on experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) tools. Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python. Knowledge of other programming languages an asset. Good general knowledge and a high degree of intellectual curiosity (acquiring and developing new skills and knowledge). A critical mind (challenging the status quo and voicing new ideas). Keen interest in major trends and challenges within the digital landscape. Thoroughness, self-reliance and resourcefulness. Excellent stress management and prioritization skills. Strong analytical and conceptual thinking. Flexibility, initiative and drive. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Fluency in French. Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English required. Given the scope and responsibilities of this role, you will operate in a bilingual environment where daily work is conducted in both official languages (English and French). The successful candidate will adapt smoothly and collaboratively to thrive in and support this multilingual workplace. Please note that this is a 12-month contract position.
