QSCC is looking for a new Analyst - Project Management to join the Canadian supply chain team!
This analyst is responsible for providing analysis, process management and control, and overall organizational support for menu-related projects. Projects primarily relate to the execution of Wendy’s Marketing initiatives, core product changes, QSCC projects, and other projects that support new and iconic Wendy’s products and concepts. The role is focused on providing both routine and ad-hoc support; while primary focus will be on project management (PM), there is also opportunity support other functional groups, including distribution.
This is both an analytical, detail-oriented role as well as a highly interactive one. As a member of the PM team, you will be part of a central hub of information and communication, uniquely positioned to help ensure items roll on and off the menu accurately, collaboratively, and in a timely fashion. Analysis in this role includes day-to-day inventory management, demand planning, and supply assurance. You will play a critical role in optimizing supply, minimizing associated costs, and enabling Wendy’s restaurants across Canada have everything they need to serve their customers.
The environment of the quick service restaurant industry requires a sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive workflows simultaneously. The Analyst has weekly opportunities to connect across functional areas of Wendy’s such as Marketing, Restaurant Services, Finance, Innovation, and Quality Assurance as well as across QSCC with Procurement and Distribution. It takes several disciplines to plan and execute various projects, promotions, tests, new product launches and disengagements, so your ability to leverage data and willingness to regularly engage with cross-functional stakeholders will be key to your success.

The Wendy’s Company has formed a cooperative (Co-op) to provide supply chain services for all Wendy’s restaurants in North America. Quality Supply Chain Cooperative, Inc. (QSCC) sources and contracts to purchase items and services necessary for the successful operation of a Wendy’s restaurant. The Co-op (QSCC) is a separate corporation with governance oversight from an elected Board of Directors representing all franchisees and The Wendy’s US Company restaurants. QSCC Canada reports to QSCC U.S and are considered Wendy’s Restaurants of Canada employees leased to QSCC - US.
Responsibilities
Acts as QSCC’s primary analytical resource for assigned projects.Attends associated meetings and ensure the QSCC team has the most up-to-date data and that cross-functional partners (internal and external) are kept updated with the latest information. Works to develop and maintain strong internal, cross-functional, and external relationships. Develops and manages project timeline, outlines associated risks, ensures milestones are met, recommends total production needs and schedules and manages the commitments with the suppliers. Support the Project Manager by monitoring inventory (weekly, bi-weekly, or daily depending on Project risk level) and communicating requirements to Suppliers and DCs. Ensure continuous supply for implemented projects and LTO’s while minimizing assurance and obsolescence costs. Develop and execute supply allocation plans and/or expedite shipments to avoid gaps in supply for both promotional and/or core Food & Packaging items. Proactively review inventory levels for core/LTO items and recommend action plans to reduce the risk of product shortages going forward. Manage project accounting processes for assigned projects – Approve invoices, set up new accruals, manage accrual amount and ensure monthly updates are made as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Travel: 5%
Pay Range: CAD 67,000.00 - CAD 115,000.00 Annually
What We Expect From You
2+ years’ experience in project management, or related discipline. Experience in retail or foodservice preferred. B.S./B.A. in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or related area strongly preferred. Masters in Supply Chain or related field a plus. Strong Analytical/Problem Solving Skills Strong Communications Skills Strong Prioritization and Time Management Skills Entrepreneurial mindset. Demonstrates curiosity and critical thinking to help evolve ways of working. Experience with MS Office, including strong Excel capabilities. Experience with PowerBI or related analytical software. Interested in growing a career in project management, strategic sourcing, procurement and/or supply chain
Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Canadian Restaurant Support Center 5515 North Service Rd STE 201 Burlington ON L7L 6G4 Canada or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 3 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
