To be more specific, here's what you'll be doing:
Development and Optimization of SEO Strategies (35%)
- Design and manage advanced SEO strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives, with a focus on measurable impact and continuous optimization.
- Identify upsell opportunities and provide high-value strategic recommendations.
- Develop methodologies and analytical frameworks to improve the SEO performance of accounts.
Leadership and Project Management (25%)
- Lead end-to-end SEO projects: defining strategy, implementing recommendations, tracking results, and making adjustments.
- Ensure effective management of resources and priorities to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (media, content, data, development) to maximize the impact of SEO initiatives.
Consulting and Knowledge Sharing (20%)
- Serve as the SEO expert for clients and internal teams, providing strategic advice based on best practices and the latest trends.
- Explain complex technical concepts to various audiences (management, marketing, development, etc.).
- Participate in training and mentoring junior team members.
Audit, Innovation, and Strategic Monitoring (20%)
- Conduct in-depth technical audits and identify opportunities for advanced optimization.
- Monitor algorithm updates and market trends on an ongoing basis, and incorporate these innovations into SEO strategies.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and the development of new approaches to enhance SEO performance.
To succeed in this role, you must:
- At least 3 years of similar experience
- Bilingualism in English and French, both spoken and written (to communicate regularly with an English-speaking clientele)
- In-depth knowledge of SEO (content and technical)
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Relevant university degree in marketing, e-commerce, etc.
- Relevant experience in the field, preferably in an agency setting
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and go the extra mile
