About The Role
IAMGOLD is seeking a highly skilled and solutions-oriented IT/OT Systems Architect (Corporate) to support and elevate technology initiatives across our global operations. This role will act as a key liaison between corporate and site teams, ensuring localized solutions are aligned with enterprise standards and scaled effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities
Working closely with IT/OT teams and business stakeholders, the Systems Architect will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems and applications. The role will provide technical oversight on projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, while managing the full project lifecycle—from requirements definition and vendor selection through to testing, deployment, and post-implementation review.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining reliable production systems by supporting troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and enhancing system stability. This includes working with managed service providers, supporting upgrades, and ensuring documentation is current and accessible. The role also contributes to disaster recovery preparedness and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational resilience.
In addition, the Systems Architect will champion IAMGOLD’s technology roadmap, ensuring systems integrity across sites and offices through audits, analytics, and strategic recommendations. This role will collaborate closely with data and business teams to drive informed decision-making and improve efficiency across the value chain.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge:
We’re looking for a proactive and technically strong professional with a university degree in Information Technology or a related field, and 12+ years of experience in IT environments. Experience with enterprise technologies such as VMware, Windows/Linux servers, and Microsoft platforms is essential. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and comfort working in a global, fast-paced environment. Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
